Class Summary - Today we looked at different ways that we could try to narrow down if an article we read is true or not. We discussed and brainstormed different things that would tell us if an article is credible or not. Do other sources reach the same conclusion? Are those sources reliable? Is there a bias? A bias means that the article takes a side and does not stay neutral. Who wrote the article? Are they licensed or educated in the area? Did the author do their research? Are there sources cited? We also discussed who we could go to to ask and remembering to trust our instincts. We also watched some commercials and video clips that go along with this idea.
