Class Summary - We started out class with a short quiz on long bone and osteon anatomy and also categorization of bones. Today we talked about and gave examples of the following surface features of bones. Condyles, head, processes, crests, spines, trochantesr, tubercles, tuberosities, foramen, fossas, meatus, sinuses. We looked at pictures of examples of each and identified them on the skeleton in the classroom. Then students worked on an disarticulated skeleton sample to identify different surface features of bones.
