Class Summary - 1. Play 'mouse party' to learn more about different drugs and effects on the brain! Please do at least one mouse, but if you are interested in it do as many as you would like! https://learn.genetics.utah.edu/content/addiction/mouse/
2. Watch this video: https://safeYouTube.net/w/Hkd8 The video, called 'nuggets' is an analogy for addiction. Before I summarize for you, I'd like you to think what parts of it do you think are analogies / metaphors for addiction. This will be a question on tomorrow's test. YOU WILL NOT BE MARKED WRONG for 'incorrect answers' on the test I just want you to put some thoughts into it before I give you the comparisons in the video.
3. An anti-drug is a protective factor (remember this is the opposite of a risk factor) that actually makes you NOT want to use drugs. Start thinking about your anti-drug. Make a mental list of a couple reasons that would make you want to stay away from drugs. I will ask you some version of this for tomorrow.
