Class Summary - Today to introduce the cardiovascular system, students were to put a display together using heart diagrams and descriptions that explains blood flow through the heart. Students were to use and color 6 different hearts matching the labels for each heart. The hearts should be colored depicting red for oxygenated blood and blue for deoxygenated blood depending on the label. The heart picture should show what the label is explaining. Students can use arrows to show direction of blood flow. The heart pictures should be glued onto the construction paper in order to show blood moving through the heart. They probably will need to use the book for information.
