Class Summary - I reminded students that the bullet hole worksheet is due on Monday and that Monday's quiz covers 1.4 in the textbook. Today we started out class with review games on body regions and body cavities. These games review the terms that will be covered on a quiz on Tuesday. Go here for the review games: www.purposegames.com/game/anatomical-regional-terms-quiz MORE REGIONS: www.purposegames.com/game/body-regions-quiz and body cavities: www.purposegames.com/game/body-cavities-quiz We then did a lab called 'play doh man dissection' where students were to follow mock dissection directions using directional and plane terms from previous lessons to cut a play doh body identically to the rest of the class. This practiced a variety of terminology used so far this year. If time allows, students should go to www.wisc-online.com/learn/general-education/anatomy-and-physiology1/ap15405/anatomical-terminology-body-regions and complete the learning activity. Students should be studying and reviewing terms in any of the following: the textbook, studyblue flashcards, notes or class powerpoints. Students can also use some of the online activities that I have used in class by clicking on review games on the anatomy and physiology home page. Test is scheduled for Thursday of next week.
