Class Summary - Today we discussed contraceptives. We talked about how abstinence is the only way to prevent any negative consequences (physical and emotional) that come with sexual activity. Abstinence is the only 100% way to protect against STIs, pregnancy and emotional concerns. We talked about other common devices that help create a safer situation but expressed that none of these are 100%, though if a student chooses to be sexually active they need to know their options to keep themselves safer. We also discussed that students need to understand their values so that their choices match their values.
