AODA Activity Punch CardsAll Osseo-Fairchild School District students grades k-12 were given an AODA activity punch card. Punches on the cards indicate attending one of the fall athletic or school related activities the district offers. Punches on the cards result in entries for drawings for prizes (Movie Theater Gift Cards). Click on the season's card to the left to see the winners.

Elementary School DiscussionsAt our November meeting (pictured left) students came up with discussion topics and ideas to use for the elementary school visit. The activities they picked develop skills like leadership, teamwork, problem solving and other invaluable skills needed to be a positive influence in our community. In December, members met with Osseo Elementary 4th and 5th grade classes to discuss how Above and Beyond members deal with difficult situations and still make positive decisions including finding ways to stay substance free.
Check out the slideshow to the left to see some of the activities! Activities that are pictured: 1. "This is Me" - Creating a Positive Self Identity 2. "Lycra Tube" - Teamwork 3. "Saving Sam" - Problem Solving 4. "Crumpled Heart" - Choosing the Right Words 5. "High Five" - Building Others Up 6. "KeyChains" - Self Worth 7. "Hidden Names" - Effective Communication 8.
