Male and Female Reproductive Systems
Class Summary - Today the goal is to learn about the various parts of the male and female reproductive systems. After each set of reproductive anatomy complete the google doc to get your points.
The male reproductive system - The external (parts you can see on the outside of the body) anatomy are the penis and scrotum. The internal anatomy include the testicles, urethra, epididymis, vas deferens, cowper's gland, prostate and seminal vesicles. This anatomy will be described in the video and slides below.

The female reproductive system - The external (parts you can see on the outside of the body) anatomy are collectively called 'vulva' and include the labia majora, labia minora, clitoris and mons pubis. The internal anatomy include the vagina, cervix, uterus (and endometrium), fallopian tubes and ovaries. Because of their location it is also important to note where the urethra and bladder are located even though they are not part of the reproductive system. Breasts are also mentioned for health / nourishment of baby even though they are not required for reproduction. This anatomy will be described in the video and slides below.
