6th Grade Health
What do we learn in 6th grade health?
The main ideas that we cover in 6th grade health are associated with the topics of mental and emotional health and substance abuse. In the topic of substance abuse the main focus is on tobacco and alcohol. All lessons are directly connected to the national health standards. The national health education standards can be found HERE. Unfortunately, our grading program, STI, does not allow a large amount of data available to post. This site will allow larger attachments, videos and notes from class. As the year progresses, I will upload class summaries, notes and the connection to the national standards. (Please understand that many lessons are multifaceted and cover more than one standard and only the main standard followed may be listed). Simply, click on the lesson button below.
