Class Summary - Today we finished off talking about pulse. We talked about resting heart rate. We took our resting heart rate and compared it to the norm. We talked about maximum heart rate and that the universally accepted formula for maximum heart rate is 220-age. Then we talked about target heart rate which is the range in which we want to work out to get benefits. This is 60-80% of the maximum heart rate. Students can then complete the pulse worksheet attached.
