Class Summary - We started out class watching a clip that reinforced what we had learned from the TED talk we watched and discussed last week. Then we did a 10 minute afternoon reset on calm.com (https://app.www.calm.com/player/Ey4xIprrH). Next, we watched an episode of Brain Games (Season 3 Episode 5) on stress and negative / positive reinforcement. Finally students were to use a meme generator (https://imgflip.com/memegenerator) to show what a student feels like under stress, "What I feel like when...." compared to what they feel like when they do a stress relief activity. Students were to share the memes with me when completed. (Directions are attached below.)
Homework - Memes should be submitted to me, Test tomorrow, students should bring their stress profiler and their biodot sheet.
Objectives - Students will evaluate effective strategies for dealing with stress (Standard 1 Core Concepts), Students will identify stressors in their lives (Standard 2 Analyzing Influences), Students will identify healthy personal stress relief activities (Standard 7 Self Management)
