Class Summary - We started out class with a short quiz on long bone and osteon anatomy and also categorization of bones. Today we talked about and gave examples of the following surface features of bones. Condyles, head, processes, crests, spines, trochantesr, tubercles, tuberosities, foramen, fossas, meatus, sinuses. We looked at pictures of examples of each and identified them on the skeleton in the classroom. Then I assigned a worksheet of labeling parts of the skull as we will begin naming parts of the skull next week.
