Class Summary - Today students drew items from a hat that are typical foods that students eat for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages. Then, they were to look up the grams of sugar in each item. They divided the grams of sugar by 4.2 to get teaspoons of sugar in that item. They measured out sugar and filled bags to create a visual of how much sugar was in those items. Then, they compared to how much women (6 teaspoons) and men (9 teaspoons) should get in an entire day.
